SMB will upgrade your Wii to 4.1
My son got this game when I wasn't home and went ahead from 3.3U -
thankfully it didn't disable homebrew but I think it removes the trucha
bug - so far that is not important to me.

Yeh, I found it in the config menu.
Lego Indiana Jones also hangs, and SMB did just once.
I think the console's borked.
