From the pics it looks like that some parts of the game will happen in
2,5D like it was in Sonic Unleashed.
I really like this style of gameplay and already did in Sonic Unleashed.
But I've to admit that screens can say a lot as long as you didn't played
the game yourself.
Anyway! I hope it'll get released soon in europe and like to see the
return of Yoshi and the N64 castle :D
