I don' think either is "better" overall, it's more a matter of which works
best for a given person. For example, Wii Active has too many activities
that are outside my capabilities, so for me Wii Fit is better. For a more
athletic person, Wii Fit might not be enough of a workout, so Wii Active
would be better for them.

Read reviews, see what each offers, and go from there.

I know that's not really an answer, but as I said, I don't think the
answer of which is better will be the same for everyone, or even most
everyone :-).
