When I bought my Wii, I also bought a spare controller set (remote,
nanchuk, and wheel). And I'm going to get two more remotes (one with
Wii Play), since some games can have four players. Are there any four
player games that use the Nanchucks? Also, I bought Mario Kart; is it
worth to get two more wheels? And, I plan on getting the Zapper with
the crossbow game; is that worth the cost?

I bought a dual charging stand that came with two NiMH battery packs.
Is this a better idea than using standard double-a rechargeables?

Not to mention that there is a new attachment for each Wii controller now.
I would guess most new games that come out now will adapt to its use. Wii
Sports Resort and Tiger Woods 10 are two games I have that use them, and its
a nice hardware upgrade. A little too pricey at $25 - $29 each though.
Sports Resort, along with Mario Party 8, Mario Strikers Charged (soccer
style game), Smash Bros Brawl, to name a few makes use of the nunchuck, AND
are 4 player games. As for getting more than one wheel, that's up to you.
Frankly, its just an asthetic thing - you can always use the Wiimote without
one. Not sure about the Zapper. Personally, I don't buy cosmetic add ons
like the wheel, but if it helps your enjoyment of a game, then it might
worth it.

I use dual charging stand as well. But I also use a really long lasting
rechargable Sanyo Eneloop (white colored). Those suckers really hold the
charge for a long time.

There's a flaw in Adobe reader that when exploited allows a trojan to
be installed on your system. And I can see no other reason to put up
a list of games in pdf format.

The gamecube was generally considered to be roughly on par with the
original xbox, so the wii obviously would be as well...

A few weeks ago, my brother, who's been staying with my parents
because he had some surgery a few months ago and couldn't work, bought
himself a Wii, and an extra controller with the wheel. But he's going
to moving out again shortly, and taking his Wii with him.

So this weekend, I went and bought a Wii to take its place. I also
bought a second controller with a wheel, plus the Wii Fit. I also
bought Lego Star Wars, Game Parties 1 and 2, and Mario Kart with
wheel.

What other games do I have to have for the Wii?

I'm probably going to get the Star Wars lightsaber game when it drops
in price.

You think? I'm a little skeptical of that but maybe it's just because

Yes I agree with you,
although, Wii HD should be roughly equal at least with the Xbox 360,
The current Wii is already roughly comparable to the original Xbox.

If you hand top quality ingredients to someone and they make a
mediocre dish out of it, where does the blame lie?

Does the fact that Bejeweled Twist could have been done on a PC from
5+ years ago mean that PC hardware hasn't advanced at all?

Even if that is what he was saying, I would still disagree with the
statement. Gears of War is day and night better than anything on the
Xbox which was by far the most powerful system of the previous
generation. Call of Duty 4 is day and night better than anything on
the Xbox. Killzone 2 and Uncharted both smoke anything that was on the
PlayStation 2. There are obviously going to be games that don't look
that much better than games that came out for older hardware but
that's more due to decisions made by the developers to produce the
game that way.

I think the shift from generation to generation was relatively equal
in both cases. When I look at the best of each generation, I don't see
much of a difference from PS/SS/N64 to PS2/Xbox/GC and PS2/Xbox/NGC to
PS3/360/Wii.

I hope you're right.

You think? I'm a little skeptical of that but maybe it's just because
nobody has really taken advantage of the hardware.
